This event offers both new and experienced vendors the chance to network and learn more about farmers markets in the Cedar Valley. Guest speakers will cover topics such as the Nutrition Assistance Programs, Cottage Law, Insurance, programs for farmers markets.
FREE but registration required by January 15th at midnight.

10:15am - 11:00 am Iowa’s Cottage Food Law (Black Hawk County Health Department)
11:30 am-noon Insurance-Why vendors and farmers markets should consider it. Resources (Larry Spilker, Campbells Risk Management)
Noon-12:30 pm Power of Produce program available to farmers markets (Cheryl Bruene, Tama County Iowa State University Extension & Outreach) )
12:30 pm Resources and Networking (UNI Local Food Program/We Arose staff)
1 pm - Wrap up
