Solar Rules: Best Practices for County Solar Siting Ordinances - May 22, 2020, 1:30-3:00p.m.
The CEEE, the Iowa Environmental Council, and the Center for Rural Affairs hosted a webinar covering best practices for development of county solar siting ordinances in Iowa. This webinar covered the key components of a good solar ordinance with examples from Iowa and around the Midwest, incorporating native vegetation and pollinator habitat with solar, and considerations for development of community solar projects.
