Midwest Solar Training Network: Building Training Capacity in Iowa

A Project of US Dept. of Energy/Midwest Renewable Energy Association

The University of Northern Iowa Center for Energy & Environmental Education (CEEE) is the lead organization in Iowa for a training opportunity that builds capacity for installers of solar energy systems in Iowa. CEEE represents Iowa in a seven-state program through the Midwest Renewable Energy Association (MREA) funded by the U.S. Department of Energy.

Goals for Iowa

Iowa is working to expand solar training opportunities, the number of solar installers and the solar industry in the state.

Our goal is to provide solar professionals with customized resources to support  high quality, home-grown solar training opportunities in the state.

We believe that by working together, Iowa's solar training organizations can create a skilled workforce that is ready to meet the needs of an emerging green economy.
